About the Role
We are working with a fast-growing healthcare technology business that provides digital solutions to improve patient care and streamline healthcare services. They are looking for a mid to senior-level .NET Developer to join their remote engineering team.
This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about building impactful technology within the healthcare sector, working on complex applications that integrate with wider systems across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using the .NET framework.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
* Work on integrations with external systems and APIs, ensuring interoperability and compliance with industry standards.
* Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
* Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
* Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers where needed.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across applications.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (Framework or Core).
* Experience working on web-based applications and backend services.
* Solid understanding of SQL databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
* Experience with API development and integration (RESTful or FHIR beneficial).
* Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is desirable.
* Background working in the healthcare or regulated industries is highly advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for performance and scalability.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team.
