Our client, a leading automotive company in Storrington, United Kingdom, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 2 Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Level 2 Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix problems
- Follow manufacturer's guidelines and specifications for all repairs and maintenance
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for future maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of all work
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and techniques through training and development opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal automotive training program or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Level 2 Vehicle Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
