Job Title: Technical Consultant
Location: Uxbridge / Hybrid (ideally 3–4 days per week in the office)

Lucid Connect are recruiting a Technical Solutions Consultant in the Managed Services Cloud space to consult with clients around technology needs, quotes, bids and advisory, bridging the gap between sales and technical teams.
As a Technical Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions across a broad spectrum of technologies including Microsoft platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, and modern workplace solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical guidance and strategic input across a range of IT domains.
* Support (or lead where possible) the design and implementation of solutions in infrastructure (on‑prem & hybrid), cybersecurity frameworks and tools, networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs), cloud migration and management, and modern workplace technologies.
* Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, support, sales) to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Conduct technical assessments, audits, and workshops with clients.
* Produce high‑quality documentation including solution designs, implementation plans, and client reports.
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve service offerings.
Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a client‑facing technical role, ideally within an MSP or consulting environment.
* Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or similar are a plus.
* Experience in a pre‑sales or technical consulting role within the IT managed services industry.
* Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, endpoint management and IT infrastructure.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure, Intune, O365, Sentinel, Networking).
* Experience with ITSM tools and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
* Familiarity with managed services contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
* Infrastructure and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
* Cybersecurity principles and tools (e.g., EDR, SIEM, MFA).
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
* Modern workplace solutions (Intune, Teams, SharePoint).
