What we're looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable team player to join our spa therapist team. You must be passionate about wellness, qualified, skilled, professional, presentable, punctual, friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about sales and products. Attention to detail is essential to maintain the 5-bubble spa environment, along with the ability to multitask. Previous experience in a hotel spa therapist role is preferred.
A day in the life:
Spa Therapists are frontline employees responsible for providing guests with an exceptional experience to relax, unwind, and indulge. The role involves shift work, including weekdays and weekends.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing first-class treatments such as massages, facials, and body treatments
* Recommending treatments and retail products ethically based on guest needs
* Meeting or exceeding personal and professional targets set by the Head Therapist or Spa Manager
* Managing time effectively
* Attending training sessions as required
* Adapting duties as needed to support business needs, such as covering staff shortages
* Ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth spa operations
* Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards
* Reporting maintenance issues
* Conducting inventory checks and managing stock levels
* Adhering to health and safety policies
* Ensuring proper storage and hygienic use of products
* Maintaining the cleanliness of changing rooms, thermal areas, and spa lounge, including restocking
