The Role
As a Bank Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in a therapeutic residential setting. Using approaches such as PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy), you will help children build resilience, manage emotions, and develop the skills they need for brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent, therapeutic care and support to children and young people
* Implement individualised interventions tailored to each child's needs
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a nurturing, structured environment
* Support children in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships
* Assist colleagues in embedding therapeutic strategies into daily practice
What We're Looking For
* Experience in residential childcare and therapeutic approaches (preferred)
* Passion for supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes
* Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
* Full UK Driving Licence – essential
* Minimum 1 year of residential childcare experience (preferred)
