Head of Support and Tenant Engagement — Location: West London • Pay: 27-30 per hour • Work hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm • Contract length: 2-3 months temporary contract with the potential to extend
About the Role
As Head of Support and Tenant Engagement, you'll lead and inspire a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred services. You'll oversee tenant engagement, safeguarding, and well-being initiatives, ensuring residents are empowered to shape the services they receive. You'll be a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic direction while driving operational excellence across housing, health, and well-being services. With a focus on collaboration, you'll strengthen partnerships with external agencies and ensure our services adapt to the changing needs of the community.
What You'll Do
* Provide leadership and management of support and engagement services.
* Act as Safeguarding Lead and deputise for the Director when required.
* Manage and develop staff, ensuring they are supported, trained, and motivated.
* Drive tenant participation in the design and evaluation of services.
* Oversee service delivery, quality, compliance, and performance monitoring.
* Lead on partnership working with housing, health, and social care professionals.
* Manage budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
* Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion across all services.
About You
We're seeking someone with:
* Significant experience leading support services at a senior level.
* A strong background in staff management and service development.
* Experience in safeguarding and the ability to act as Safeguarding Lead.
* Proven ability to manage budgets and monitor performance.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A collaborative, compassionate, and resilient leadership style.
Knowledge of the issues facing veterans and the ex-Service community is desirable, but we welcome applicants with relevant transferable experience from other sectors.
