Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
Location: Hybrid (typically 2–5 days per week on-site depending on project needs)

As a member of the Data Link Systems team, you will contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced RF communication systems vital to next-generation defence platforms. Our team operates from multiple UK locations and works closely with multidisciplinary engineering groups to deliver high-performance solutions for complex environments.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
* RF Systems Technical Leads
* RF Systems Engineers
* Algorithm / Modelling Engineers
* Signal Processing Engineers
What we're looking for:
We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in RF systems, systems engineering, and signal processing, including those with leadership experience or looking to expand into new technical areas. Suitable candidates may come from backgrounds in RF systems, communications engineering, electronics, or aerospace/Defence engineering.
Desirable experience includes:
* RF / microwave systems engineering
* Requirements management and system-level design
* Oversight and technical direction of suppliers (in coordination with procurement teams)
* Mentoring or technical leadership of junior engineers
* Experience with design reviews across the development lifecycle
* Transitioning development hardware into production, including qualification and certification
* System-level integration and functionality proving (software/firmware)
* Familiarity with antenna systems and system-level RF modelling
* Real-time digital signal processing for high-bandwidth applications
* Waveform design and implementation
* Experience with systems modelling and auto-code generation
* Research experience based on academic or industry publications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create technical reports and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders
