Position: Estimator
Location: Henfield
Salary Up to £45,000
Our client a Civil Engineering Contractor, with a focus on sustainability, based in West Sussex are looking for an Estimator, who will be working on projects from climate adaptation and infrastructure projects. The Estimator will receive a generous salary up to £45,000 (maybe more depending on experience), company bonus, Hybrid working and Private Healthcare.
The companies' specialities span across a variety of different sectors including water and waste water, infrastructure and coastal protection working on unique projects. The role of the Estimator within this forward thinking and expanding company is to produce competitive carefully resourced, analysed tender cost and submit the price and any necessary quality submissions to a client.

Estimator Position Overview
* Working on competitive bids, negotiated contracts and within Frameworks.
* Estimator required to join a forward thinking and expanding Civil Engineering company
* Provide competitive and analysed tender costs and submit the price and necessary quality submissions to a client
* Reporting directly to the Estimating manager showing awareness of company targets
* Aiming to better company targets with profitable successful bids
* Assist with budget prices
* Studying tender documentation and information provided.
* Assessing the viability of tenders
* Calculate the net costs of a tender from first principles
* Ensuring that tenders are complete and submitted on time.
Estimator Position Requirements
* HNC in Civil Engineering or similar discipline would be beneficial
* Minimum of 2 years estimating experience within a Civil Engineering company
* Working knowledge of NEC conditions of contracts
* Previous Site Experience would be beneficial
* Civil Engineering related degree or qualification
* Ability to work well within a team environment
* Financial and Pre-contract Management experience
* Full driving licence
* CSCS Card
