Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a CDD High Risk Vertical Analyst to join our ever evolvingpliance and Risk Enablement team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
What you'll own as the CDD High Risk Vertical Analyst
1. Perform due diligence reviews across high-risk sectors including Cryptocurrency, Gambling, Marketplaces, Money Transmission and Payment Facilitators, amongst others.
2. Drive strategic partnerships to accelerate the growth and mitigate the risk across our Enterprise portfolio.
3. Manage relationships with business leaders, legal,pliance and external merchants.
4. Collaborate with 2nd linepliance, Risk and Legal to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practice whilst managing operational impact for both tactical and strategic initiatives.
5. Identifyplexities in high-risk models and ensure the right skills, tools, and analytical methods are used for onboarding.
Continuous Improvement :
6. Support the development ofpliance and risk frameworks to enhance operational efficiency. This includes contribution to, or where necessary the creation of, practical controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
7. Collaborate withmercial teams to identify and assess operational challenges related to Merchant growth, including monitoring and reporting. Balancingmercial objectives whilst maintaining operational adherence.
8. Support and implement key initiatives across impacted Operational business units.
Relationship Management:
9. Develop and maintain an open and positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders, as necessary.
10. Create a customer focused culture that has a clear understanding of risk and an innovative can-do mindset that achieves both the regulatory objectives and a good customer experience.
Training and Development:
11. Where necessary, attend and contribute to relevant meetings, such as those focused on risk andpliance to represent and understand the operational impact for strategic initiatives.
12. Keep up with global regulatory changes to better understand operational risks.
What you'll bring
Essential
13. Minimum of 3 years' experience in apliance or risk management.
14. A demonstrable understanding of legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to customer due diligence, Wolfsberg industry standards & card network rules
15. Experience in the payments industry.
16. Knowledge of high-risk vertical regulations such as gambling, payment facilitators, cryptocurrency and money transmission.
17. You have a strong practical understanding of the importance of a rigorous control environment.
18. A strategic thinker with the ability to identify, mitigate andmunicate risks and issues that could impact the organisation and the customer experience.
19. Ability to build a positive culture of continuous improvement and learning, encouraging professional development opportunities and knowledge sharing initiatives.
20. Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, ensuring effectivemunication and alignment.
21. Highly analytical and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpretplex data and make informed decisions.
