Position: Employment Solicitor | Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Role Overview
The successful candidate will handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm, contributing to the continued growth and development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including: unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and restrictive covenants.
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
* Advising on HR procedures, grievance, and disciplinary processes.
* Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate.
* Conducting legal research and staying up to date with legislative and case law developments.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery.
* Assisting with business development initiatives and supporting the firm's marketing activities.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified solicitor (minimum 2 years' PQE preferred, but all levels considered).
* Strong technical knowledge of employment law and procedure.
* Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
* Strong client management and communication skills.
* A commercial and solutions-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
