Location: Special Needs primary school, Rochdale
Daily Rate: £90–£100/day DOE
Contract: Full-time, Long term – expected to go perm for right person.

We’re looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Rochdale, supporting pupils aged 3–11 with a range of additional needs including autism, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory impairments. What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils in class and during individual or small group work
* Helping children with personal care where needed (training and guidance provided)
* Using positive behaviour strategies (Team Teach training is a bonus!)
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
* Celebrating small wins and helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills
What We’re Looking For
* Some experience working with children with additional needs (in a school setting)
* A calm, caring, and positive attitude
* Willingness to assist with personal care routines
* Proof of Right to Work
* Proof of Address
* An enhanced DBS (or be happy to get one)
* References from the last two years (including one school-based)
