Position: In-House Property Lawyer
Location: High Wycombe area (fully office based)
Salary Guide: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum (DOE) + bonus + benefits
Role Type: Permanent, full-time or part-time applicants will be considered
We are working with a leading developer who are seeking to appoint an In-House Property Lawyer. This is a unique opportunity to step away from private practice and move into a true in-house role, where you’ll focus on leasehold property work across a significant property portfolio.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a wide range of property matters in-house. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing voluntary and statutory lease extensions end-to-end.
* Handling the non-contentious aspects of leasehold property matters.
* Preparing, reviewing, and completing deeds of variation relating to long leases and freehold rent charges.
* Supporting on the disposal of retained landholdings, including access roads and surplus parcels of land.
* Liaising with leaseholders, external solicitors, and stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with current and upcoming legislation, including the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024.
* Maintaining accurate records and case management systems.
