Our client based in New Milton has an immediate requirement for an experienced Quality Controller to support their small but busy team.
You will be required to provide a second level of finished product quality control check over and above that of the production supervisors as well as the initial goods in QC. Your day-to-day duties will be a mixture but will include the following:
* Intake quality assessments on hardware.
* Intake quality assessment on plants.
* General administrative tasks such as entering information into company and third-party systems.
* Quality assessments of product packed on site.
* Maintaining shelf-life trials.
Candidates must have previous quality control experience, a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workload, must have good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will also need good analytical and numeracy skills.
This is a temporary position with an immediate start available, the role is to cover a period of leave and could be from 2 weeks to 3 months in length. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 07:30 am till 16:15 pm (39 hours) and the pay rate will be commensurate with experience from £12.00 to £14.00 per hour.
