This involves planning the utilization of personnel, equipment, facilities, and materials on a regular basis to meet established deadlines and priorities set by higher-level supervisors. The role includes assigning work, providing technical direction and assistance, investigating work-related issues to improve efficiency, and administering performance management, including development plans and constructive feedback. Furthermore, the position is responsible for fostering a work environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and ensuring employee education and compliance with all security, safety, and health directives. Qualifications and Key skills City & Guilds/ NVQ level 3 Award in the requirements electrical installations BS 7671 - 18th Edition Regulation City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Award in an appropriate discipline, i.e Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations City & Guilds 2391. A valid UK CAT B driving license. 1. Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/ Equal Employment Treatment. 2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and instruments used in shop and trade practices, and of electrical equipment, i.e., test lamps, multimeters, circuit analyzers, circuit breaker testers, voltage recording meters, meggers, watt meters, ohmmeters, and ammeters. 4. Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised. 5. Ability to use electrical drawings, blueprints, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various electrical systems, controls, and equipment without more than normal supervision. 6. Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission. 7. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
