Perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair faults efficiently.
Carry out road tests to ensure vehicle performance.
Conduct Vehicle Health Checks and recommend work where necessary.
Work on brakes, suspension, clutches, and general mechanical systems.
Timing belt / Chain replacement.
Maintain a clean, well-organised workspace and uphold safety standards.
Mentor apprentices and support their development when needed.
Driving to a range of locations for on site repairs in a fully equipped service vehicle.
To be able to carry out a range of repairs and mechanical diagnostic and service work on site.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
3-5 years' experience as a qualified technician/mechanic.
Your own set of professional tools.
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Proficiency with diagnostics, hand tools, and interpreting technical data.
MOT tester accreditation (desirable).
Experience in 7.5 ton lorries (desirable).
Knowledge of the workings of ADBLUE DENOX SYSTEMS service and. repair (desirable).
A full, clean valid UK driving licence.
