£35,000 £17.25 per hour + overtime at 1.5, Bonus, permanent, Bristol BS2, 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, early finish Friday, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension, sick scheme.
Our client is a successful and established precision engineering company with a small but friendly team of engineers looking for a skilled manual machinist, manual turner, lathe machinist.
The manual machinist, manual turner, lathe machinist role will see you carrying out duties such as:
Manual machining of parts
Manual turning
Manual lathe work is essential and milling experience is beneficial
Reading engineering drawings
You will manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor.
This role will allow you to get on with your work unsupervised with your allocated jobs
The skilled manual machinist, lathe machinist is likely to have
Served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist, however candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in manual machining.
The skilled manual machinist, manual turner, lathe machinist will have a history of working in precision engineering producing small batches and one offs to fine tolerances.
