Requirements
At Emtec Energy, we're growing our pre-construction team to support a strong and expanding pipeline of Solar PV, battery storage and grid connection projects across the UK.
This newly created role plays a key part in that growth, coordinating the design phase and keeping projects organised and ensuring everything is aligned and ready before it reaches site.
Part of the wider Emtec Group, we deliver renewable and low-carbon energy solutions that support the UK's transition to Net Zero, taking projects from early concept thought to successful delivery.
The Role
As Pre-Construction Project Coordinator, you'll help drive projects through their early stages coordinating design inputs, tracking programme, managing documentation and supporting cost and risk control.
You'll work closely with Design, Commercial and Delivery teams to make sure nothing slips, risks are visible and projects move forward smoothly and confidently.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, organisation and being central to moving parts in a fast-growing energy business.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate solar PV, battery storage and grid connection projects during pre-construction
* Track programme milestones and support design progress
* Manage drawings, submissions and key documentation
* Support DNO/IDNO and G99 applications
* Maintain risk registers and assist with budget tracking
* Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors
* Prepare updates and support pre-construction meetings
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a project coordination, technical support or engineering role within construction, utilities or renewable energy
* Good understanding of the project lifecycle and design processes
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working with technical documentation and programme tracking
* Confident communicator who can work across multidisciplinary teams
* A genuine interest in renewable energy and infrastructure
Desirable
* Proficient in MS Project or similar planning tools
* Awareness of CDM 2015 regulations
* Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and DNO requirements
* Experience with G99 grid connection processes
