§ Provide effective secretarial and administrative support to academic staff as required. § Provide administrative/secretarial support in support of ad hoc meetings as required. § Assist in the administration and co-ordination of all performances, concerts, assessments, and events in consultation with appropriate academic staff. § Liaise with the Human Resources Department regarding new and existing staff details on behalf of the Head of Department/Programme Leader to ensure all information held centrally is accurate and up to date. § Coordinate and record the submission of progress reports from academic staff and to ensure distribution to students as required. § Provide a central collection point for the collection of student assignments. § Collect and collate module feedback results. § Ensure effective communication with students in respect of programme delivery and timetabling. § Assist the Head of Department/Programme Leader to co-ordinate the staffing requirements of the department, acting as a point of contact for part time hourly and fee-paid staff. § Prepare examination papers ensuring security, accuracy, and appropriate moderation. § Coordinate room booking required for programme delivery. § Liaise with a range of external agencies in respect of programme delivery e.g. artistic companies, local authorities. § Maintain general programme files. § Administer student placements. § Participate in the Conservatoires’ Goals Setting and Career Review process. § Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time by the Programme Support Manager and the Deputy Registrar.
