Forklift Truck Driver / Yard Operative – MANUAL HANDLING REQUIRED & OPTIONAL OVERTIME
Salary: Up to £28,000 plus overtime
Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
Our client is seeking a dependable Forklift Truck Driver / Yard Operative to join their proactive operations team. This role involves supporting daily yard activities, preparing equipment for despatch, and safely loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts.
Manual handling and heavy lifting are integral to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend daily toolbox talks at 7:30am to ensure safety and communication
2. Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard environment at all times
3. Accurately select equipment using load lists
