About Us
We are a local Welsh independent builders' merchant, supplying a wide range of building materials, timber, roofing and landscaping products to trade and retail customers. With a growing online presence, we are looking for a Website Manager to take ownership of our e-commerce and digital platforms, ensuring they drive sales, improve customer experience, and represent our brand effectively.
The Role
As Website Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, development, and optimisation of our company website and online store. You'll play a key role in growing our digital sales, maintaining accurate product information, and ensuring our website is user-friendly, reliable, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and update website content, including product listings, pricing, stock availability, promotions, and imagery
· Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to plan and deliver online campaigns
· Monitor website performance, analytics, and customer behaviour to identify improvements
· Troubleshoot technical issues and oversee website maintenance
· Keep product catalogues, categories, and descriptions accurate and consistent
· Support click-and-collect and delivery integrations with our branches
· Stay up to date with e-commerce trends and competitor activity
About You
· Previous experience in website management or e-commerce (retail or trade sector preferred)
· Strong knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g. Magento, Shopify, WordPress, or similar)
· Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS and troubleshooting website issues
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Understanding of Google Analytics, and online marketing tools
· Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
· A proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach
