Mechanical Inspector
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* To ensure all products are inspected at planned stages preventing non-conforming product, to include, 1st off, FAIR, Final view, pre-treatments, goods in / out.
* Dimensional and visual inspection of product at all required stages of manufacture.
* Raise Purchase Orders on sub contract suppliers
* Raise NCR for non-conforming product in accordance with procedure, label and contain non-conforming parts
* To ensure product non conformity is communicated to the quality engineers and production in a timely manner.
* Complete FAIRs in accordance with the applicable procedure.
* Utilise customer quality process and software as required; E.g. Net Insp
* Attain and comply with customer approved inspection requirements eg DSQR
* Compile and approve certificates of conformity
* Attend and input into RCCA 8D meetings as required.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar engineering workshop environment within the aerospace industry. You must have excellent attention to detail and be capable of maintaining exceptional high standards of process control in all aspects of quality.
