Ferring Controlled Therapeutics Ltd is a growing manufacturing subsidiary of Ferring Pharmaceuticals located on two sites in East Kilbride, Glasgow.

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Team. Working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will be accountable to the Reporting and Controlling Manager.

Responsibilities and duties:

* Manage the outsourced payables provider and support ongoing relationship.
* Overseeing outsourced accounts payable and expense activities to ensure accurate processing in a timely manner.
* Establishing and managing PO’s in a timely and efficient manner.
* Driving best practice and advising colleagues on operational Requisition-to-Pay procurement processes.
* Ensuring proactive follow-up of key internal stakeholders and establishing professional and positive relationships with suppliers.
* Overseeing Twice Monthly payment runs.
* Ensure the timely processing of Month End Activities.

Required experience and competences:

Applicants should offer previous experience in operational procurement and purchase ledger.A background within an SAP environment would be advantageous as well as the following:

* Proficiency to multi task
* Excellent attention to detail
* Team player, willing to learn
* Process driven, experience within a GMP background would be useful
* Highly motivated and organised
* Ability to problem solve
* Competent to take initiative, follow up and finish tasks
* Excellent written and oral communication and presenting skills in English.
* A collaborative and enthusiastic personality with an ability to work in a dynamic environment.
