Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced One Identity Safeguard Engineer to join a leading management consultancy firm on an initial 6 month contract. This role will support a client-facing programme focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM) enhancement and optimisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, configuration, implementation, and optimisation of One Identity Safeguard solutions within complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and configure One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Passwords (SPP) and/or Safeguard for Privileged Sessions (SPS)
* Lead on-boarding of privileged accounts, assets, and applications into Safeguard
* Configure access request workflows, session policies, and approval processes
* Integrate Safeguard with Active Directory, Azure AD, and other identity providers
* Support high availability (HA) configuration and performance optimisation
* Conduct health checks, remediation, and best-practice improvements
* Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks
* Work closely with security architects, infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders
* Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams where required
Experience:
* Strong hands-on experience with One Identity Safeguard
* Proven experience delivering PAM solutions in enterprise environments
* Experience integrating Safeguard with:
o Active Directory / Azure AD
o SIEM platforms
o MFA solutions
* Strong understanding of privileged access controls and security best practices
* Experience in regulated or complex environments (Financial Services, Government, or Consulting preferred)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Contract:
* Inital 6 months contract
* Competitive day rate - Inside IR35
* Hybrid - 1 day based in London
