We are seeking Healthcare Assistants Apprentices to work within secure services. As a Trust, we support the development and progression of our staff through apprenticeship pathways, combining vocational learning with on-the-job experience. You will undertake a Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship while working closely with your team to acquire essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours for this role. The apprenticeship lasts 15-18 months, and upon successful completion, you will progress into a Band 3 Healthcare Worker role.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in specialist forensic pathways within a supportive environment. Our team is fast-paced, forward-thinking, and promotes a psychological and trauma-informed approach with a focus on relational care.

You should be passionate about delivering high-quality care, working with patients, their families, and supporting professionals to ensure needs-based, patient-centered care. The role is challenging and emphasizes further training and professional development, with regular clinical supervision and support provided.

We seek caring, compassionate, innovative, flexible, and motivated individuals interested in working therapeutically with patients experiencing mental health difficulties and involved with the criminal justice system.

Good communication skills and teamwork are essential, as you will join a multidisciplinary team working in specialist settings. You will be involved in creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.

We are an award-winning, CQC-rated 'Good' health and social care Trust delivering integrated services across Hull, East, and North Yorkshire. Find out more on our website.

Our Trust is forward-thinking and committed to staff development. We value our colleagues and invest in their skills to deliver outstanding care. We also prioritize diversity, equality, and inclusion, welcoming applications from all backgrounds.
