Withernsea High School is located in the pleasant, rural seaside town of Withernsea and serves the population of the town and surrounding villages.
We are seeking two suitably experienced Teaching Assistants to work with designated students in the school's Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP).
Following three successful years, our Year 9 ERP students will enter Key Stage 4 in September 2024 and begin a bespoke and blended curriculum involving education off-site and at Withernsea High School.
You will work alongside two other colleagues to facilitate the education of these students and will be supported as part of the wider ERP team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work some break and lunchtime duties as required, as part of these contractual hours.
For the above post, you should be flexible, able to work independently, meet pre-determined deadlines and possess good verbal communication skills.
The successful applicants should be proficient in building positive relationships with students, together with a professional approach with teachers and other members of the progress team. A friendly, outgoing but firm personality is essential.
