Responsibilities We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Activity & Wellbeing Lead to spearhead our new day service for 7 placements per day at Silver Trees Care Home, while also leading and inspiring our team of two Activity Facilitators who deliver engaging programmes for 62 residents in our main care home. Position- FT permanent role Salary: £25,480/pa (35 hours per week) & (opportunity to work overtime) Location: Silver Trees Wellbeing Centre & Care Home, Nailsea, North Somerset Key Responsibilities: Design & deliver a stimulating and inclusive activity programme for our day service attendees (Mon-Fri, 10:30am-2:30pm), focusing on social connection, mental stimulation, and physical wellbeing. Lead, mentor, and support 2 FTE Activity Facilitators, ensuring high-quality, person-centred activities for our 62 care home residents. Develop tailored wellbeing plans, incorporating therapeutic, recreational, and social activities to enhance quality of life. Work closely with the care team, families, and external partners to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences. Monitor and evaluate the impact of activities, adapting programmes to maximise engagement and enjoyment. Manage budgets, resources, and activity supplies efficiently. Qualifications and Skills What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in organising wellbeing/activity programmes (elderly care, dementia, or community settings preferred). Creative, energetic, and empathetic, with a passion for improving lives through meaningful engagement. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
