Personal Assistant to the Managing Director Location: Near Hertford (rural location) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (pro rata if reduced hours) Benefits: Private healthcare, generous pension contribution and much more Hours: Full time or slightly reduced hours considered We are delighted to be recruiting for a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director of a prestigious and historic Hertfordshire estate. This is a traditional PA role with a variety of responsibilities, providing the opportunity to become a trusted support to the Managing Director, while being part of a forward-thinking, diverse business with many different areas of interest. Based in stunning offices within the estate, this position will particularly suit someone who enjoys working in a countryside environment while supporting at the very highest level. The successful candidate will bring professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with discretion and confidence. The Role This is a varied and rewarding position, providing high-level support to the Managing Director, including: * Complex diary management and meeting coordination * Preparing meeting agendas, packs and reports, with accurate minute-taking * Handling correspondence and communications on behalf of the MD * Liaising with senior stakeholders, board members, and external contacts * Organising logistics for meetings and events, both on-site and off-site * Providing broader support as part of the Executive Support team * Greeting visitors and keeping the office running smoothly About You We are looking for someone with: * At least 5 years’ proven experience as a PA at senior management or C-Suite level * Please note - we cannot consider applicants without this experience. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail * A proactive, discreet and professional approach * Strong IT skills (MS Office essential) * The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities * A full, clean driving licence and your own transport (essential due to location and occasional travel requirements) Why Apply?
