Vetro Recruitment is currently recruiting for a SEN Residential Support Worker to join a specialist service that supports young people with complex needs in our 3-4 bedroom residential homes. These homes provide a nurturing and safe environment, with a minimum staffing ratio of 1:1, ensuring each young person receives the tailored care and support they deserve.

Shifts : Various shift patterns (sleeps nights)
00 per hour (depending on experience)
Immediate Start Available
Excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, and no payroll charges

The Role: As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the daily lives of young people in our complex needs homes. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support, implementing personalised care plans, and ensuring that the young people are supported to engage in activities that help develop their independence, social skills, and overall well being.
Some of our young people may present with anger management issues, absconding behaviours, and criminal behaviours, so your role will require a calm, patient, and proactive approach.
You will also work closely with our educational team at Vetro, helping ensure the young people's education and personal development are supported.
Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people, including those with challenging behaviours
Ensure the safety and well being of the young people at all times
Support young people to engage with their education at Vetro Regional School
Be flexible with shifts, including providing waking night support when required
Have a passion for working with young people with complex needs
Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenging behaviours
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
