Strategist

The Role As a Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their clients' B2B marketing and event marketing strategies. All activities are designed to drive leads and focus on lead generation. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive plans that align with business objectives, leveraging insights and data to drive decision-making.

Your expertise will help our clients achieve their marketing goals through creative and effective marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results in terms of leads generated.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Create and implement strategic B2B marketing and event marketing plans that align with clients' business objectives, as well as target audience needs.

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights that inform strategy for client marketing plans and events.

Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and expectations, ensuring strategies are tailored to their specific needs.

Campaign Planning: Develop detailed campaign plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation.

Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve event marketing strategies.

Topic and Theme Creation: Develop topics and themes for marketing and events that directly address the challenges faced by prospects.

Customer Persona Development: Gain in-depth knowledge of ideal customer personas to create topics, ideas, and themes for client campaigns that resonate with these audiences.

Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with account teams internally on the creation of campaigns and events, and with the lead generation team to identify the best angles, topics, and themes to use in pitches and outreach.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, account management, business development and data teams to ensure alignment of campaign strategies.

Content Creation: Develop high-quality content that supports lead generation eff orts, including whitepapers, case studies, event landing pages and outreach copy.

Agility and Responsiveness: Remain agile and responsive to how campaigns are performing, troubleshoot if they are not landing, and adjust the strategy, topics, or themes accordingly.

Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports to clients, showcasing campaign results and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a strategic role within a B2B marketing agency, ideally with a focus on event marketing.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret content, insights and data to drive strategic decisions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

As an Marketing Communication Executive/ Manager you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for their clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Qualifications

A degree in Marketing, Business, Events or a related field is preferred.

Up to 2 years of experience in account management, preferably within a B2B marketing agency.

Events

Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and events.

You will be:-

* Developing a deep understanding of our target audience to design and test demand generation campaigns. This includes collaborating with our Marketing team to generate inbound leads from platforms such as email, social media, and LinkedIn.

About the opportunity

We’re looking for a Demand Generation Manager to be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and revenue growth. As a key player in our marketing team, you will collaborate closely with sales, content, and digital marketing to ensure seamless alignment and execution of campaigns.

Requirements

Ideally, you’ll have:

* At least 5 years of B2B demand generation and account based marketing experience
* Knowledge of using multiple integrated channels in a coordinated approach including ABM activity, thought leadership, guided content and marketing automation.
* Proficiency in working with ABM, CRM marketing & performance measurement platforms (e.g. Demandbase, HubSpot, Google Analytics)
* A solid understanding of B2B marketing principles, lead generation, marketing automation and lead nurturing techniques.
