Lancashire FA are currently seeking an experienced Groundsperson to help maintain and enhance the quality of their facilities and grounds, ensuring they consistently meet the highest standards, in line with legislative and environmental compliance and best practice.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for grounds maintenance, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards across all aspects of site care—from pitch preparation to equipment upkeep. You'll be comfortable working outdoors in all weather, operating a range of groundskeeping machinery, and will take pride in maintaining an environment that supports football at a professional level.
Experience working with playing surfaces and turf management is essential, as is the ability to follow health and safety procedures and work efficiently as part of a team. A full driving licence is required for this role. Physical fitness, good communication skills, and an eye for detail are key attributes the team are looking for.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at The County Ground in Leyland, with occasional evening and weekend work, and some travel across Lancashire. The role offers a salary of £22,223 and includes extensive benefits.
