About the role
1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
Knotty Ash, Liverpool
£13.68 - £16 per hour
September 2025
The School and the Role
Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in Knotty Ash, Liverpool, who are looking to appoint a creative and inspirational Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child under the direction of the class teacher and the SENDCO.
This role is full-time (Monday-Friday) starting September 2025.
You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. In-line with the child's EHCP, you'll play a pivotal role in removing the students' barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential. You will be working closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum, so strong communication skills will be essential to the role.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
* Level 2 TA Qualification
* A passion for SEND and experience working with Primary aged children
* A positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
* An ability to work as part of a team
* Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
