Job Title: Experienced Chef

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to develop and deliver seasonally inspired menus using the finest local ingredients. You will lead and empower our established team to elevate our food offerings. Supporting our Head Chef, you will leverage your experience and passion to drive excellence, creativity, and development. The ideal candidate consistently delivers high-quality products, maintains cleanliness and organization, and strives to do their best in all tasks.


Responsibilities and Duties:

* Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
* Design menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
* Prepare, cook, and present food according to restaurant standards
* Supervise the kitchen team
* Ensure dishes are prepared and presented following recipes
* Act as Deputy for the Head Chef when absent
* Manage food ordering, stock control, and inventory
* Ensure compliance with food hygiene (HACCP) and safety regulations
* Organize kitchen shifts and team rotas
* Coordinate team training and development
* Handle issues promptly and efficiently

We operate straight shifts covering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and small functions.


Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality hotel (4-star or higher) or restaurant
* Experience in all areas of food preparation including butchery, fish prep, sauces, and patisserie
* Knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and safety regulations

* Ability to work under pressure
* Organizational skills
