Global Regulatory Legal Counsel - Associate Director
We are looking for an experienced regulatory change lawyer to join our Global General Counsel’s Office (“GCO”) team as an associate director. The successful candidate will help drive change by providing strategic guidance and support on EY’s regulatory obligations, enabling the EY Network to meet the requirements of new and evolving regulations that impact across the EY Network.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a regulatory change lawyer with a broad regulatory background to help drive and manage the implementation of relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice on a wide range of regulatory issues across differing legal regimes around the world.
* Advise on the potential impact of regulations relevant to EY clients that may impact how EY provides services to them.
* Horizon scan for regulatory developments and proactively advise on potential compliance obligations and mitigation opportunities.
* Actively collaborate with fellow members of the Global GCO team and other internal functions to help drive regulatory compliance and efficiency.
* Instruct and work with external counsel.
* Contribute to internal guidance, best practices, and templates.
To qualify for the role you must have
* Legal qualification with at least 8 years PQE in a relevant regulatory area.
* Substantial experience advising on regulatory compliance and active involvement in supporting on regulatory change.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with working with a wide variety of stakeholders.
