Interim HR Operations Manager – 12 Month FTC

£55,000 - £65,000
We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to step in and lead our clients People Operations team for the next 12 months.
This role sits right at the centre of the colleague experience. You'll oversee day-to-day people operations, manage complex employee relations cases, and support leaders through the tricky stuff with clear, practical advice.
You'll also play a key part in getting the organisation ready for upcoming changes linked to the Employment Rights Bill, making sure our policies, processes and systems are fit for purpose.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading and developing the People Operations team
* Acting as the escalation point for complex ER matters
* Coaching managers through sensitive situations
* Reviewing and improving HR processes
* Ensuring compliance with UK employment law
* Strengthening governance and maintaining accurate, inclusive policies
* Using HR systems and data to improve efficiency and insight
We're looking for someone who has:
* Strong experience leading HR advisory / operations teams
* Solid UK employment law knowledge
* A track record of managing complex ER cases
* Confidence working with HR systems and driving process improvement
* The ability to influence and support senior stakeholders
* CIPD qualification is desirable.
