Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, team work and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Duties
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the well-being of each child.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Requirements
* Level 2 or 3 qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
* Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is desirable
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
Pay
Pay will be in line with experience and qualification.
