Job Title: Title Checker
Due to continued growth, our client has a full-time vacancy for an experienced Title Checker to join their team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Handle all aspects of a purchase transaction, focusing on reporting to the client and raising legal enquiries on residential tenures.
2. Check and report on all search results, identify issues, and raise relevant enquiries.
3. Inform Case Handlers when to report matters under CML to the lender.
4. Manage a continuous flow of title checks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Liaise with live conveyancing teams, providing information and assistance for complex transactions.
6. Possess demonstrable knowledge and experience of the conveyancing process, ideally in a title checking role.
7. Assist conveyancing teams with replies to enquiries, management packs, mortgage offers, and searches.
8. Maintain a strong attention to detail, work diligently, and use initiative within tight deadlines.
