About Our Client
As a People Partner, you'll play a key role within the People Directorate, working closely with People Business Partners to manage complex employee relations cases and support organisational change initiatives. You'll also contribute to people-focused projects, policy development, and workforce planning, while championing inclusive practices and employee well-being. This is a 6 month FTC that could potentially be extended.

Job Description
Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters including grievance, disciplinary, sickness absence, and performance cases.
Work closely with employment lawyers and internal stakeholders to ensure pragmatic, legally compliant outcomes.
Support managers with workforce planning, recruitment, and job evaluations.
Collaborate with Learning & Talent Development colleagues to identify training needs and develop learning solutions.
Contribute to HR policy design, review, and consultation processes.
Coach, mentor, and advise managers and junior HR colleagues.
Promote employee well-being and signpost relevant support services.
Ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality HR record keeping.
The Successful Applicant
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience advising and coaching managers on ER issues and organisational change.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Experience in a public, not-for-profit, or similar sector is desirable.
