An established indirect tax technology business is entering an exciting new phase of growth — expanding its offering to include a VAT advisory and consulting service.
As part of this development, the business is looking for a Senior VAT Manager / Consultant to take a leading role in shaping and delivering advisory projects. This position will work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in building out the firm’s consulting capability.
With a clear plan already in motion and a strong commercial team driving growth, the focus is now on bringing in a technically strong VAT professional to lead on client delivery and advisory work — particularly across cross-border projects.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading and delivering complex VAT advisory and consulting engagements
* Providing strategic support to clients across a range of sectors and jurisdictions
* Working closely with leadership to shape the future direction of the advisory function
* Acting as a senior point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for
* Around 10+ years’ experience in VAT or indirect tax advisory, ideally gained in practice or a consulting environment
* Strong technical and commercial mindset, with the ability to operate autonomously
* Within reach of Reading, with around one day per week in the office
