Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing the full catering operation across the farm, including the Farmshop, Café Restaurant, Barista Coffee Bar, Playbarn Café, Concessions, and Events & Hospitality SpacesBuilding and leading a large, diverse team, ensuring exceptional service, safety, and hygiene standards across all outletsManaging day-to-day operations, including stock control, supplier relationships, menu planning, allergen management, and cost controlCollaborating with the wider farm team to support school visits, seasonal events, private functions, and community activitiesMaintaining operational excellence across a logistically varied site, ensuring smooth service delivery and a consistent visitor experienceImplementing and upholding food safety and quality standards (including HACCP) across all catering areasDelivering seamless hospitality experiences for external bookings, high-profile events, and community functionsDriving innovation and continuous improvement, adapting to visitor feedback and evolving needs to enhance the overall food and hospitality offeringQualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy GM in a high-volume, quality-focused environmentA strong background in wedding and event catering—you know how to deliver under pressureA track record of leading, training, and motivating large teamsFinancially astute with experience in budgeting and commercial performanceExcellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skillsHighly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressureEmpathetic and effective communicator with a solution-focused mindsetStrong strategic thinking and critical reasoning skillsAble to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings as neededAdditional InformationFor almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that’s an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
