The Opportunity
4 on 4 off rotating days and nights - 12 hour shifts
As Engineering Team Leader, youll lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, efficient maintenance, and a safe working environment across your area. Youll take ownership of team development, KPIs, crisis management, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day engineering activity and resource planning
Lead and develop a skilled engineering team with regular 1:1s and reviews
Ensure health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and permit-to-work controls
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and reduce downtime through robust problem solving
Maintain site readiness for internal/external audits and engineering compliance
The Ideal Candidate We believe that success is built upon collaboration and diverse perspectives. As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: - HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 / BTEC / City & Guilds in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering
Proven experience in engineering leadership within FMCG, ideally food manufacturing
Strong people management, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of CMMS systems, 18th Edition Wiring Regs, and health & safety best practice
Experience managing audits, crisis incidents, and continuous improvement projects
