Clinical Application Specialist (Monitoring Analytics) - North of England
Job Description
In this role, you will promote Philips Healthcare products and systems across the assigned territory. As an Applications Specialist, you ensure that customers receive comprehensive training to enable the safe and effective use of Philips equipment following installation and handover.
By delivering high‑quality clinical and technical support, you will help maximise customer satisfaction and support optimal patient care throughout the North of England region.
Responsibilities
* Promote Philips Healthcare solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars and trade shows.
* Work as part of an account team to ensure modality results are reached according to account plans and targets.
* Support new product launches.
* Provide required application reports on completion of all application visits.
* Train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the equipment delivered.
* Re‑train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrades or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment.
* Set up application training schedules in close cooperation with the customer.
* Ensure that all customers are provided with high‑quality training and attention so that each customer is fully satisfied with the attention received from PH.
* Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback about the quality of the training delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Report to BU on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment.
* Be aware of and manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the regional office.
* Support and advise the sales force during acquisition.
* Keep up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment.
* Ensure that all clinical application training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy.
* Report customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
Role and Team
You are a part of the Clinical Application team for Monitoring Analytics and Therapeutic Care. You will be closely working with Account Managers and Product Managers to achieve the modality result and maximise customer satisfaction.
Reporting
You will report directly to the Clinical Application Lead.
Qualifications
* Degree level education or equivalent.
* In‑depth knowledge and experience of Monitoring products. A knowledge of ECG systems including ECG machines would be advantageous.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical field using monitoring devices.
* Fluent in English, verbal and written, in addition to the local language.
* Experience/Qualification in Teaching/Training.
