In this position, you'll be responsible for fault finding, PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance), and remedial work across a range of security systems, with a focus on Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control. A solid background in the security industry, along with hands-on experience working with systems such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic, will be highly beneficial. Flexibility to travel throughout the Midlands is essential for this mobile engineering position. EXPERIENCE: Security Maintenance Engineer - PPM, CCTV, Access & Intruder You will be an experienced Security Engineer to support small businesses and domestic properties across the entire Midlands region. The role involves fault finding, PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance), and remedial work on a range of systems, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control. You should be confident in wiring and have a strong understanding of electronic principles. Experience with leading brands such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic is highly valued. Qualifications in the security or electrical sectors—such as FIA, BTEC, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security and Emergency Systems—will significantly enhance your application, along with accreditations from NSI or SSAIB. A full UK Driving Licence is essential, as you'll be regularly travelling to client sites throughout the Midlands.
