Overview
The Intensive Support Service provides bespoke supported living services in the Bury/Heywood area of Greater Manchester for adults over 18 with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex needs. Services are provided 24/7 using a trauma-informed, case management model to support increased independence in the community for three adults. As a Relief Support Worker, you will receive support and direction from the support co-ordinator and service manager. Staff may need to work dynamically between the Registered Office, service, and current care provision to ensure a well-planned transition into the new home.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with shopping, cooking or baking, household tasks and meeting personal care needs
* Assist residents in achieving their personal goals in a calm and predictable environment
* Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and supervisors
