Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, making it essential for candidates to have prior experience in hotel or janitorial settings.
Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Change bed linens, towels, and toiletries as required, while replenishing supplies in guest rooms.
* Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
* Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all areas are clean and tidy.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
* Uphold the principles of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests during interactions.
Experience
* Previous hotel experience is highly desirable; familiarity with hospitality standards will be an advantage.
* Experience in janitorial services or similar roles is beneficial.
* A strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
