Network engineer

A Belfast-based technology organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Network Engineer to support and develop its enterprise network and security environment.

This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with strong routing, switching and firewall experience who enjoys working in structured, business-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities
* Support and maintain enterprise WAN, LAN and wireless infrastructure

* Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity incidents

* Configure, manage and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure

* Work with Fortinet firewall and network security solutions

* Support network upgrades, changes and improvement initiatives

* Ensure network security, availability and performance standards are met

* Collaborate with internal technical teams and stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required
1. Minimum 4years experience in a Network Engineer or Infrastructure role

2. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies

3. CCNA certification (or equivalent experience)

4. Solid understanding of network security principles

5. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
