Metrology technician

Are you an experienced Metrology Technician? Are you immediately available and looking for an opportunity to working with a world renowned research institute? We are currently seeking a Metrology Technician to join a research organisation at their Lab in Oxford. In this role, you will be involved in the testing and development of components for use in spaceflight missions. Although the role will be primarily focussed on metrology and inspection, prior experience with precision mechanical assembly would be beneficial. This is a temporary role, expected to last for 3-6 months. Role Overview * Temporary, Part or Full Time Role,( Mon-Fri) Flexibility with exact hours. Start Date ASAP, expected to last 3-6 months. £20-£25ph DOE * Utilisation of a Range of Metrology and Inspection Tools such as Wenzel CMM, Keyence Digital Microscope, Shadowgraphs etc. * Work predominantly within an ISO7 Cleanroom. * Assist with precision mechanical assembly of parts. Requirements * Demonstrable experience with Precision (<5 μm) Metrology on CMMs (ideally Wenzel) and other metrology tools and techniques. * Knowledge of requirements of working in a Cleanroom. * Excellent communication and teamworking skills * Experience with precision assembly would be beneficial. * Must be available immediately to begin in Oxford In return This is an excellent opportunity to gain additional experience working wi...
