CoreDAO is seeking a dedicated VOLUNTEER Community Ambassador who will serve as the bridge between CoreDAO's leadership, community members, and the broader BTCFi ecosystem. This strategic role focuses on fostering engagement, coordinating fellowship activities, and expanding CoreDAO's impact across the decentralized finance landscape.
The successful candidate will coordinate community initiatives, manage the BTCFi Fellowship Scheme, and work closely with Council Convenors and Community Leads. This position reports to the Director-General or designated representative and is supported by Strategy Officers and Project Coordinators.
As with all roles in CoreDAO, this is a voluntary unpaid role.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the BTCFi Fellowship Spaces and Events, including onboarding, engagement, and development of fellows and associates.
* Build and maintain relationships with Community Coretoshis, Community Leads, and Pillar representatives.
* Facilitate communication between CoreDAO leadership and community members across all levels.
* Identify and recruit talented individuals to join CoreDAO's ambassadorship community.
* Increase visibility and engagement of CoreDAO Contributors within the BTCFi and broader Web3 communities.
* Support strategic planning initiatives and help implement CoreDAO's community development vision.
* Identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential strategic partnerships within the ecosystem.
* Represent CoreDAO at conferences, events, and community gatherings.
* Organize and support stakeholder engagement initiatives, AMAs, workshops, and community calls.
* Monitor community sentiment and provide feedback to leadership on community needs and concerns.
* Help identify relevant conferences, events, and collaborative opportunities for CoreDAO participation.
* Strengthen CoreDAO's regional and international presence through community-building activities.
Compensation
While this is a volunteer position, CoreDAO offers token-based compensation to recognize and reward contributors:
* Performance Bonuses: Additional token rewards for exceptional community growth, successful events, and milestone achievements
* Fellowship Growth Incentives: Bonus tokens tied to recruitment and retention of high-quality fellows
* Long-term Vesting: Multi-year vesting schedule to align incentives with CoreDAO's long-term success
Education & Training
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Communications, Community Management, or related field.
* Background in blockchain technology, DeFi, or Web3 communities preferred.
* Experience with DAO governance structures is a plus.
* Proven ability in community management and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience coordinating programs, initiatives, or fellowship schemes.
* Track record of building constructive relationships in decentralized communities.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote, distributed teams.
* Experience working with DAOs, Web3 projects, or blockchain communities is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders across all levels.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust within decentralized communities.
* Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
* Proficiency in additional languages (including Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian, or Arabic) is highly desirable.
* Strong networking abilities within the Web3 and DeFi ecosystems.
* Proactive mindset with drive to identify and pursue new opportunities.
* Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
* Comfortable working across time zones and cultural boundaries.
General & Specialist Knowledge
* Proficiency in collaboration tools (Discord, Telegram, Notion, Google Workspace).
* Strong understanding of CoreDAO's mission, BTCFi ecosystem, and Bitcoin DeFi.
* Knowledge of DAO governance, community management best practices, and Web3 culture.
* Familiarity with blockchain technology and decentralized finance concepts.
* Passion for building engaged, thriving decentralized communities.

Selection Process

Qualified candidates will be invited to complete the following assessment:
Section A: Verbal and Numerical Reasoning (20 multiple-choice questions)
Section C: Practical Exercise (An open-ended assessment relevant to community liaison duties)
