Help shape how we tackle public health challenges! We have an exciting opportunity to improve community health as part of our Health Improvement team. National plans aim for a Smokefree Generation by 2030, and Wiltshire Council is working towards this by 2029. With extra government funding for local public health teams, this is a great time to work in Public Health - join us to lead and drive this ambitious work.
We are looking for a Public Health Specialist to lead on Smokefree and Tobacco Control and oversee the NHS Health Checks programme. As a Public Health Specialist, you will provide strong leadership to deliver Wiltshires Smokefree Strategy, supporting the Public Health Principal for Health Improvement by working closely with other team members and Public Health Practitioners.
