As a Despatch Operative, you will be accountable to the Despatch Supervisor and play a crucial role in organising finished goods to meet customer delivery requirements. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday on a double day shift pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm). You may be required to work outside these hours during busy periods. Key Responsibilities Include: Carrying out despatch duties in a safe, consistent, and reliable manner. Ensuring finished goods are packed, ready for despatch, and all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and available as required. Loading vehicles safely and according to instructions. Maintaining forklift in good working order. Operating the pallet wrapping machine. Identifying areas for improvement and putting forward new ideas. Complying with all health and safety regulations and practices. Maintaining good housekeeping. What We're Looking For: Forklift Truck License (Counterbalance and Reach) Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines Personable with good communication and relationship-building capabilities across all levels of the business.
