About the role
This is a key role in the Dock area of our operation at our Outbase.
The role is physically demanding, and the successful candidate will need to be able to manoeuvre heavy mixed cages between Temperature Controlled environments, as part of the duties assigned to the position.
Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Sunday and Thursday with shift hours of 20:00 hrs to 04:00 hrs

Main Responsibilities
8. Shunting duties
9. Unloading crossdock trailers and re-loading delivery vehicles.
10. Use of dock levellers and loading bays
11. Manage/oversee vehicle movements around the yard
12. Responsible for alarm setting of loading area
13. Liase with drivers on expectations and deal with operational delays/challenges
14. Vehicle temperature checks
15. Follow key safe procedure
16. Completing new load sheets
17. Call outs for vehicle breakdowns
18. Follow security procedures
19. General oversight of the night trunking operation
20. Liaise with DC on challenges/delays to loading
You will need
You must hold a valid C+E Licence.

A basic understanding of Health and Safety is essential, along with a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
